Start Skype Facebook Video Chat

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, and Tony Bates, CEO of Skype in a joint product announcement launched Facebook video chat. Facebook and Skype both joined hands together and started the web video calling feature. Facebook in the past has already joined hands with Microsoft to have Bing search on Facebook and vise versa.

Most of my friends are now still asking how they can enable the video chat feature on Facebook. You need to install a small video plugin on your computer to enable the video chat feature on Facebook.

How to enable Facebook video calling chat feature?

  • Goto http://www.facebook.com/videocalling
  • Click Get “started button“.
  • Download the plugin and install it.
  • Now you will simply see the webcam icon inside your Facebook chat window.
